Boyd Reeves and Fred Fleenor Boyd Reeves and Fred Fleenor 1943 and 1955 Ithaca guns. Date: 10/29/11 Here is a photo from a couple of ardent Model 37 owners. This was taken Oct 24, 2011 in Onida, South Dakota. The Model 37 on the right (16 ga) was made in 1955 and the one on the right (20 ga) is from 1943. The two of us started hunting together in the early 1950's and in the last 2 years have started working on our Bucket List and getting back to what we both grew up loving. Always talked about pheasants in South Dakota, but never got there until last year. What a trip and the memories from just picking up those Model 37's is unbelievable. Would love to get a new one, but the ones we have are still working just fine.........as the picture shows.

Regards,

Boyd Reeves and Fred Fleenor

Russ Avery, Vestal, NY - Zero in target This is my zero in target I shot before the season starts. Russ Avery, Vestal, NY Date: 04/07/07 This is my zero in target I shot before the season starts. I usually shoot once to make sure its still zeroed in. This shot was 55 yards from the roof of my car. As you can see this thing shoots with pin point accuracy. I use the german brenneke rottwieler rifled slugs 2 ¾ inch 1 1/8 ounce. I don’t believe there is a shotgun made today that will out shoot this master piece within one hundred yards. This gun was a gift from my uncle, he gave it to me in 1995 and since then I have got a deer or two every year with usually one shot. Very rarely does this thing miss!!! I ran the serial number and it was manufactured in 1965. I have three other M37 and would not part with them. - Russ Avery, Vestal, NY

Todd_Pees Deer taken by Todd Pees in Hardin County Ohio with an Ithaca Model 37 Date: 01/18/09 I found your website online and wanted to submit these photos for your viewers. I have been using my Ithaca Model 37 Feather light since 1986. I have a modified choke and no slug barrel and this gun has never failed me for small game or large bucks. Both of these deer were taken in Hardin County, Ohio with the large 14 point shot in 2003 and the 10 point in 2008. The 14 point made Ohio big buck scoring system for both typical and non-typical. I have never owned another gun and probably never will.

Robin Pardus Deer Hunt, McConnell Illinois Always a proud moment with an Ithaca!!!!! Date: 11/19/09 After deer hunting for about 8 years with my husbands Ithaca M 37 Featherlight he told me it was time for me to get my own gun and stop using his. There was not other gun I wanted but the Ithaca! After attending many auctions I finally found the exact same gun as his and bought it. You can also imagine the excitement I had this year shooting a deer with a gun I can say is mine! The buck isn't the biggest, but it is meat in the freezer! Thanks Ithaca!
Always a proud moment with a Ithaca!!!!!

Bryce Muellers Buck 2009 - Illinois My son Bryce made a perfect 1 shot kill to a nice 8-point buck with his Deerslayer II. Date: 12/02/09 Last year I purchased a New Deerslayer II for my son Bryce which was shipped in Dec. 2008. He did not get to use it for the 2008 Illinois deer season. Well, the Deerslayer II proved successful at 6:30 am opening morning of the 2009 Ilinois deer season. My son Bryce made a perfect 1 shot kill to a nice 8-point buck. He was very proud that he was successful with his new gun on the first time out hunting with it. I was also successful two days later with my old 37 in killing a smaller 8 point buck. I don't think either one of us will ever part with our 37. Pictures attached. Thanks for continuing the Ithaca tradition of the Mod 37.

An older Japanese sword maker saw the shotgun and offered to engrave for him. I do not know what price was paid , but my parents were "COUNTING PENNIES" as the saying goes. Dad often said the work deserved more but would not take what had not been agreed to. The 12 gauge wasn't taken as good of care of as it deserved to be, everything - including stock and fore grip I believe are original. Can't afford to display it, so I keep it in a case and bring it out to oil it down once in a while. Hope you enjoy the reworked standard engraving scene.

In the group of 9 hunters there were 4 Model 37s. The oldest one was mine, middle of the front row. By the serial number, my 20 gauge Model 37 was made in 1943. The gun was given to me for Christmas in 1953 and is the only gun I have used since that time. It is one of my most valued possession and has many good hunts left in it. It is going back to the factory here in a few weeks, as I feel after all these years it needs a going over and re-blued. I am hoping to pass it on to one of my grandsons one of these days.

Andy Whitman's Turkey, Dec 2010 This is a young gobbler I shot with my 1923 Ithaca Flues 12 gauge double barrel. Date: 11/29/10 I am so glad that Ithaca is back and made in America!

This is a young gobbler (weighing appox. 16 lbs.) that I shot with my 1923 Ithaca Flues 12 gauge double barrel (with 28 inch barrels) on Dec.8, 2010 in Stafford County, VA at approx 30 yards. I used #4 shot and the right barrel (front trigger) which has a modified choke.

I have another 1923 12 gauge Ithaca Flues double barrel (26 inch barrels) that belonged to my grandfather that I still use for all types of game, but mainly for turkeys, doves and upland game birds because I am primarily a bird hunter and I like the short barrels for the brushy places I hunt in. My family has hunted with my grandfather's Ithaca for 3 generations now and I plan to pass it on to my son.
