The second picture of a recent hunt in Onida, South Dakota. In the group of 9 hunters there were 4 Model 37s. The oldest one was mine, on the right. By the serial number, my 20 gauge Model 37 was made in 1943. The gun was given to me for Christmas in 1953 and is the only gun I have used since that time. It is one of my most valued possession and has many good hunts left in it. It is going back to the factory here in a few weeks, as I feel after all these years it needs a going over and re-blued. I am hoping to pass it on to one of my grandsons one of these days.
